Every child has a job in our class. On Monday the children choose their new job for the week. We keep a class checklist in a folder and record the date they do each job. The name cards stick to the chart with a putty type adhesive. We adjust the number of jobs to the number of children in the class. Here are some we are doing this year: Flag Holder, Carpet Manager, Attendance, Thermometer, First, Last, Lights, Calendar Number, The Substitute, Circle Table Caller, and Snack Table Caller The Snack Team: Sink Manager, Milk, Snack, Napkins and Straws.
