Mrs. Kane's Class
Kindergarten Cooks Turkey

Mrs. Kane asked her children to help her make a turkey for Thanksgiving.
She told them she wasn't sure how to do it.
So if anyone needs any cooking tips, here are their instructions:

Lauren - Get a turkey, put it in the oven at 2 degrees for one hour. Look in the oven to see if it is brown. When it is brown, take it out and then it's done. Now we can eat it.

Nicala - You need a turkey. You need to cook it in an oven. Take a spoon and put it in the turkey. Turn it so you can roast it for 10 minutes at 9 degrees. Take it out of the oven and eat it.

Kelly - Get a turkey and put it in a pan. Turn on a fire in the oven to 6 degrees. Cook it for 7 minutes. Cut the turkey. Serve it and eat it.

Kirsten - Get a turkey at the store. Put needles in it to make all the juice come out. Some people put some gravy on it to use for the potatoes. Put it in the oven for 8 hours. Put the oven on 44 degrees. It will make it nice and hot. Put the gloves on to hold it and take it out of the oven. Then it's done and we made a masterpiece.

Natalie - Get a turkey at the food shop. Put it in a big square thing. Cook it in your oven at 6 degrees maybe for 6 minutes. Put some gravy on the turkey. Take the round thing and put it in the turkey to take the temperature. Put it on the table and you can eat it.

Olivia - Buy a turkey at Acme or Pathmark. Bring it home and cook it on the stove, probably for about 10 minutes. Then cut it and eat it.

Caroline - Buy a turkey at the store. Put it in the silver wrapper paper. Get it salty and then roast it in the oven at 10 degrees for 5 minutes. When the oven beeps, take it out of the oven and have some guests come over to help you eat it.

Kiera - Put him on his stomach. Put some gravy on him and put him in the oven. Cook it for 10 minutes at 2 degrees.

Tapanja - Get a turkey and wash it off. Put pink icing on it. Then put it in the oven and cook for 50 minutes on warm. Then put it on a plate.

Conor - Shoot the turkey and bring it home. Get a pot and put the turkey in it. Stuff it with stuffing. Put it in the oven for 4 hours on medium temperature.

Eric - Put stuffing on the top. Put meatballs in it. Put some ketchup and mustard on it with some pickles. Put it on the stove on high and cook it for 20 hours.

Jake - Get a turkey and chop his head and feet off. Put water on it and stick it in the oven and roast it for 3 minutes at 45 degrees.

Ben - Get a turkey and put Fluff in it. Put chicken on the top of the turkey. Bake it for 10 minutes on hot.

Dylan - Make feathers and cook the head and put it in the oven. Cook it for 6 minutes on hot. Take it out and take the legs off.

Chris - Get a turkey and take the bones out. Put pepper, salt, and other spices on it. Cook it in the oven so it turns for 10 minutes on hot.

J.T. - Stuff the turkey with stuffing. Put garlic on him. Put him on a pan and cook him in the oven for 1 hour on low.

Michael - Sit in a tree with a gun. When the turkey comes by, shoot it. Take his bones out and his head off. Put broth on him. Then cook him at 10 degrees for 10 minutes.

Austin - Take his feathers out, cut his tummy out, and cut his neck off. Put ketchup, mustard, and cheese on him. Then cook him for 5 minutes at 90 degrees.

Thanks for everyone's help. I'm sure this will be the best turkey ever!
I hope you all have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
Love, Mrs. Kane
