As we approach the beginning of a new school year, I would like to take the opportunity to welcome all of you. For many, it is a greeting extended to old friends; to others, it is an introduction and an invitation. To all, it continues our pledge of continued efforts to provide the best possible education for our boys and girls who attend Lakeview.
Our school's reputation and success rest, in large measure, on parental concern and involvement. We seek to give each child an education that matches their abilities, that challenges them to love learning and that gives them the skills to be successful. This is not an easy task. We need your cooperation and understanding if this year is to provide a good experience for your child. Our school has always stressed academic excellence...in this there is no compromise or change.
Your school can take pride in its highly qualified and dedicated faculty. These educators welcome your concern and help. Each year since I have been your principal, we have taken more steps to develop the partnership between home, school and community. We know that these are important years in our children's lives. We encourage you to become involved in your child's education and in the school community.
If there is anything we can do to help your child, please do not hesitate to call. The unvoiced problem cannot be resolved. Our goal continues to be the provision of the best possible education for each child who attends Lakeview.
