Like Snowflakes We Are All Different
Cut 3 - 1" x 12" strips of dark blue construction paper for each child.
(We liked the 1" width but you may make them any width or any color.)
Cut out lots of white pattern block shapes.

if you don't have access to an Ellison machine.

Glue the 3 strips in an asterisk shape then glue a hexagon in the middle.
Before gluing the rest, children place the shapes on each strip
to check to see if their pattern matches.
