A Message From Miss White
Hello, my name is Kim White. I will be 17 on September 25th and I am a Senior at Ridley High School. I plan to go to college next year and I am interested in Elementary Education. Last year my guidance counselor told me about a program that our school district has available called Community Service. Depending on the career interests students have, they can take advantage of the opportunity to volunteer in that area so that they have some experience and have a chance to see if that particular career is something that they would like to pursue.
I will be working with the students in Mrs. Jones' and Mrs. King's class during this whole school year. I come to their class every other day for about an hour and fifteen minutes each day. I hope to learn the many different aspects of teaching this year, and hopefully by June, I will have an idea of whether or not it's right for me. I also hope to get to know the children better, as they seem to be very pleasant to be around. As I have been learning their names over the past couple of weeks, I have also been learning how different they are from one another, and how they each have their own unique personalities. I am glad that I have this opportunity and I hope it works out well for everyone!
