Mr. Ochu
We are doing an exciting exchange writing project with a high school class from Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, Missouri. Mr. Ochu and I met over the internet through an EMail in 1997. We discovered we both teach kids how to write, just at entirely different ages! Through EMail, we planned the first exchange of books our students would make. It was fun for the kindergartners to make and see the finished book we wrote and illustrated for Mr. Ochu's class. His students made extraordinary books knowing young children were going to read them. It was exciting to see all the different books and artwork by the high school kids. It was a great experience for the students at both schools! Once again this year, his students are writing and illustrating children's books for us and each class is writing a class book for his students.
