Eyes in front, like to hunt. Eyes on side, like to hide.
Some nights Mrs. Jones smells the skunk that travels through her yard!

I know a giraffe.
With a neck that's real high
She stretches and stretches
till it reaches the sky
She lives on the plains
With the elephants too
You might also see her when you go to the zoo.

Giraffe Calf
The calf and the giraffe took half a bath.
The calf and the giraffe took half a bath.
But the giraffe, she had to laugh
Because her calf was half giraffe.
The calf in half a bath was half giraffe.

Giraffe
Of all the animals in the zoo,
I am the tallest. That is true.
Who am I? I am the giraffe.
I am brown and white with a little red,
And I have two knobs on the top of my head.
Who am I? I am a giraffe.
My neck is long, I am very tall,
But I don't have very much voice at all.
Who am I? I am a giraffe.
I have one big ear on each side of my head.
High up in the air is where I am fed.
Who am I? I am a giraffe.
I walk right up to the tallest tree.
And I eat the leaves that are good for me.
Who am I? I am a giraffe.
*****
A Giraffe
A giraffe is tall,
and very lean.
He's one of the few,
Who isn't mean.
He eats his veggies,
Up in space.
So no one can,
Get in his face.
It's hard for him,
To try and kneel.
This awkward position,
Upsets his keel.
His beauty and grace,
Enhanced by the sun.
Are really shown,
When on the run.
He's one of my favorites,
In the jungle, a prize.
He must be protected,
Not to, is unwise.

Found a Mammal
Tune: Found a Peanut
Found a mammal, found a mammal,
Found a mammal just now.
It has hair, and it breathes air,
Found a mammal just now.
Found a fish, found a fish,
Found a fish just now.
It has scales, and it has gills,
Found a fish just now.
Found a bird, found a bird,
Found a bird just now.
It has feathers and lays eggs,
Found a bird just now.
